Here’s an amazing way to discover Tasmania’s spectacular wild places at Tahune; why not try the Twin River Winter Adventure – paddling, drifting and splashing on a raft or kayak while admiring the immense southern forests and listening to the birds, the rustling trees, and burbling river.

Your day starts at the Tahune Adventures Visitor Centre where you check in and receive your briefing. From there you get your equipment fitted and it's off to the 'Top Bridge' for the rafting adventure.

From here you raft down the beautiful Picton River and back to the Tahune Adventures site. Features on the way include; 'The Gorge', Huon Pine trees, and interpretation of the huge surrounding Eucalyptus regnans forests and its inhabitants.

Upon return at Tahune you can enjoy your included lunch out on the deck while overlooking the river, or inside close to the fire. Your meal is followed by free time to explore the Tahune Adventures site, including the Huon Pine Walk, Airwalk, and Swinging Bridges Track (entry included).

*Please note - You should feel confident swimming in a life jacket if you happen to fall out of the raft. Equipment only suitable for people between 25kg and 120kg. Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
