Check-in is between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm.

If you don't make it by 3:00 pm you will require a pin code to retrieve your room keys from the lock box on the wall of the Cabin/Lodge. This will be given the day prior to your arrival.

HOW TO GET HERE: The estimated travel time from Hobart to Tahune (going through the township of Geeveston) with no stops is 1.5 hrs drive South. See below for the recommended driving route. This road (Arve Road) is a SEALED ROAD, be sure to avoid any dirt/gravel roads all the way to the site to arrive safely.

Please note: There is very limited GPS/Mobile coverage in the area, so please follow signposts from Geeveston. It’s highly recommended NOT to rely on GPS.

WIFI: There is no phone reception at the Tahune Adventures site. Free wifi will be available for guests, with the following login details: AirwalkGuest – no password is required. This will be in range only within the buildings.
WHAT’S INCLUDED: All linen is supplied. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need to cook. However, you will need to bring your own personal toiletries, along with food for your evening meals and breakfast. Any undue mess will incur a cleaning fee.

DINING: The Tahune Airwalk Cafe closes after lunch, so don’t forget to bring food for your evening meal. The nearest grocery store is the IGA in Geeveston, about a 30-minute drive from Tahune. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook. We also have a small mini-bar with selected items available to purchase which can be settled upon checkout. If you would prefer to dine out, the closest restaurant is the Kermandie Hotel at 4512/4518 Huon Hwy, Port Huon TAS, we recommend calling ahead to confirm availability: 03) 6297 1052.

SITE ACCESS: Access to the site, including the Tahune AirWalk, is included in your accommodation package (see map below). During your stay, feel free to wander through at your own leisure. Please be aware that it is not advised to do any of the walks after dark and doing so will be at your own risk.
PETS: We are pet-friendly upon request. If you plan to bring your dog, please advise us at least 24 hours prior to your visit. A deposit of $100 is required, which will be returned in full upon check-out.
